Frank Torti, M.D.
Frank Torti, M.D., is the Vant Chair at Roivant Sciences and Executive Chairman at Immunovant. He was the founding CEO & Chairman of Telavant from the time of its inception until its sale to Roche for $7.25B.
In his role at Roivant, Dr. Torti serves as Chairman, Executive Chairman, or CEO of the public and private biopharmaceutical companies (Vants) at Roivant and is responsible for those businesses. This group of companies has advanced over forty medicines into clinical development, produced positive phase three results in eleven consecutive clinical trials, and generated over fifteen billion dollars in value. Together these companies have delivered six FDA approvals and have brought novel medicines in dermatology, oncology, immunology, men’s and women’s health, and rare disease to millions of patients.
During the course of his career, Dr. Torti has been Chairman of the Board of fifteen companies and served on more than thirty corporate boards. He has been involved in more than $22 billion in capital formation through fundraising, partnerships, and corporate acquisitions, and companies with which he has been involved have completed approximately twenty initial public offerings and M&A transactions.
Prior to joining Roivant Dr. Torti spent over a decade at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), where he was a partner at one of the largest venture capital firms in the world. Before joining NEA, Dr. Torti worked for the Duke University Center for Clinical & Genetic Economics, where he was involved in clinical trials research and economic evaluations of clinical trials. Dr. Torti received his BA with highest honors as a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina, his MD from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, and his MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
Jake Bauer
Jake Bauer, MBA, has served as a member of our Board of Directors since April 2025. Mr. Bauer has served as a Venture Partner at ARCH Venture Partners and SR One Capital Management since September 2021 and as an independent consultant working with companies in the life sciences industry since November 2020. Prior to MyoKardia, Inc.’s acquisition by Bristol Myers Squibb in November 2020, Mr. Bauer served as the Chief Business Officer of MyoKardia, Inc., a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, beginning in 2018. Mr. Bauer has also served as the Senior Vice President, Finance and Corporate Development and Principal Financial Officer of MyoKardia, Inc. from July 2016 to July 2014. Mr. Bauer also serves on the boards of directors of Enliven Therapeutics, Attralus, Simcha Therapeutics and Dispatch Therapeutics. Mr. Bauer holds a B.Sc. in Biology and a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Andrew Fromkin
Andrew Fromkin has served as a member of our board of directors since October 2019. Since January 2021, Mr. Fromkin has served as the Vant Portfolio Operating Partner for Roivant Sciences, Inc., or RSI. From January 2021 until April 2023, Mr. Fromkin served as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Proteovant Sciences, Inc. From March 2015 to September 2020, Mr. Fromkin served as Chief Executive Officer of Tarveda Therapeutics, Inc. (formerly Blend Therapeutics, Inc.). From 2005 until 2011, Mr. Fromkin served in various roles for Clinical Data, Inc., including Executive Vice President (October 2005 until May 2006) and President, Chief Executive Officer and Director (May 2006 until May 2011). Prior to Clinical Data, Mr. Fromkin served as President and Chief Executive Officer of DoctorQuality, Inc., President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Endo Surgical Devices, Inc. and Corporate Vice President, Business Development, for Merck-Medco, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Merck & Co. Mr. Fromkin began his career at Health Information Technologies, Inc. as General Manager of its subsidiary, MCA, and Director of Marketing and Payer Alliances for the parent company. From 2014 until 2016, Mr. Fromkin served on the board of Regado Biosciences, Inc. which became Tobira Therapeutics, Inc. in 2015. Mr. Fromkin received a B.A. from Brandeis University.
Douglas Hughes
Douglas Hughes has served as a member of our board of directors since October 2019. Since 2018, Mr. Hughes has served as Chief Financial Officer of Calyxo Inc., an early-stage medical device company. From 2011 until 2018, Mr. Hughes was Chief Financial Officer for NeoTract, Inc., a Urology company. Prior to that time, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Nellix, Inc., an endovascular graft biotechnology company. Before joining Nellix, Inc., Mr. Hughes served as Chief Financial Officer for Evalve Inc., a medical device company, from 2009 until 2010. Prior to 2009, Mr. Hughes held a variety of senior finance management positions at Boston Scientific, Guidant Corporation and The Clorox Company. Mr. Hughes currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Calyxo Inc., a privately held medical device company. From September 2020 to December 2022, Mr. Hughes served as a member of the board of directors of Eargo Inc., a publicly traded medical device company. Mr. Hughes received a B.S. in Finance from San Francisco State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
Atul Pande, M.D.
Atul Pande, M.D., has served as a member of our board of directors since October 2019. Dr. Pande has extensive experience in treatment development across multiple disease areas. He is currently a board member of Karuna Therapeutics, Autifony Therapeutics, Perception Neurosciences and Pangea Botanica, and served as a board member of Sio Gene Therapies from March 2015 to April 2023. He previously served as the Chief Medical Officer of PureTech Health, Chief Medical Officer of Tal Medical, and medical advisor to PureTech Health. Since September 2016, he has also served as Chief Executive Officer of Verity BioConsulting, a drug development consulting firm that provides services to clients in the biopharmaceutical business. From 2007 to April 2014, Dr. Pande was Senior Vice President and Senior Advisor, Pharmaceutical R&D at GlaxoSmithKline. He has also held senior roles at Pfizer R&D, Parke-Davis/ Warner-Lambert and Lilly Research Laboratories. He has been on the Scientific Advisory Boards of Cennerv Pharma and Centrexion Corporation. Dr. Pande is a physician who completed his research fellowship training in psychiatry at the University of Michigan Medical School and his postgraduate specialty training and psychiatry residency program at Western University.
Robert Susman
Robert Susman, M.B.A., has served as a member of our Board of Directors since April 2025. Mr. Susman served as Director of Strategy at Artisan Partners, a publicly traded asset manager with over $160 billion in assets under management, from April 2023 to November 2024. His leadership role involved business development, client fundraising and managing the investment research team of one of the firm’s newest alternative investment strategies. Prior to that, from January 2013 to April 2024, Mr. Susman was a Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst at Marsico Capital, a multi-billion dollar growth-oriented investment firm, where he co-managed the Global Fund and International Opportunities Fund. Prior to this role, Mr. Susman was an Analyst at Baron Capital and held various positions at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Susman graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Business School and is a CFA Charterholder.

Eric Venker, M.D., Pharm.D.
Eric Venker, M.D., Pharm.D., is the Chief Executive Officer of Immunovant and has served on the Board of Directors since 2020. He brings more than two decades of clinical practice and operating experience to the company. Dr. Venker also serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Roivant Sciences, a position he has held since 2018. Dr. Venker first joined Roivant in 2014 and has held various roles of increasing responsibility, including Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Staff to the CEO. Earlier in his career, Dr. Venker was a physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center, where he trained in internal medicine. While there, Eric led operational initiatives to improve efficiencies across a large hospital system with $5 billion in annual revenue. Earlier in his career, Eric was a Clinical Pharmacist at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Venker received his M.D. from the Yale School of Medicine and his Pharm.D. from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
